I have been working at Siteworx full-time

    Pros

-brought in some of the top talent from other digital agencies (think Accenture, IBM, and Sapient) that bring in connections to wide range of prospects
-A lot of opportunity to grow within the company
-more new client deals closing along with existing clients which helps with job security
-Chicago and Raleigh offices have a great culture and fun work environment
-if you align yourself with the right people at work, they go out of their way to help you become more successful
-small company so hard work is recognized especially to upper management

    Cons

-going through a transitional period with a new c suite, a lot of people are quitting because of it
-a lot of upper management is so obsessed with bringing in new clients that it has installed fear into employees. Leads to a very hostile environment between upper and lower management

    Advice to Management

Take the time to thank your employees for their hard work, especially the ones who have stuck around for the transition. Also, if you want your employees to stick around, install motivation and positivity rather than fear.

    Software Engineer Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Rochester, NY
    No Offer
    Positive Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Siteworx (Rochester, NY) in April 2013.

    Interview

I was contacted by phone to come into an office for a 30 minute interview with a PM.

When i showed up I was blindsided by there being 3 interviewers. Instead of the casual "get to know you" interview I was told to expect, I was immediately thrown into technical questions.

None of the questions were particularly difficult and nothing you wouldn't expect out of an engineering position for a web company.

    Interview Questions

    • None of the technical questions would be considered difficult by anyone applying for a similar position.

Describe a difficult programming problem you've run into and how you went about solving it.   1 Answer
