I worked at Six Corners Same Day Surgery full-time (More than 5 years)
Prior to being bought out by USPI bonuses and raises were premium. Very flexible with scheduling and paid holidays. Wonderful holiday parties and family atmosphere.
Tuition reimbursement only if you pursue nursing, although it was not mentioned at the time. Raises are minimum and not based on performances, bonuses are non-existent now. When it gets slow the hours are reduced and your check suffers, not administration or corporate. Money focused, I lost at least three center administrators during my interim. No opportunity to move up to corporate even with a degree unless someone "likes" you.
Advice to Management
Stop the micromanaging. Everyone is grown and they do not need someone standing over them observing them when they are not pitching in to help.
I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Six Corners Same Day Surgery (Chicago, IL) in February 2014.
Dr. Elias will hire you on the spot because no one wants to work for him and his employees quit so often. This is because he is so verbally abusive. Do not take a position with him. He will never change. He is so egotistical and obsessed with making money at his patient's expense. I do not believe he checks credentials either. This place is a revolving door of staff. Very sad for patients because he is not a skilled surgeon at all.
