Based on my recent experience, Flat Management concept closer to "Don't get flattened" management, nepotism/cliches prevail, constructive feedback & supportive training rare. OSHA could close this place down due to the lack of enforced safety procedures & practices.
Advice to Management
Please get in touch with the reality of your flat management "experiment". Quit ignoring the lack of QC/QA in your company.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Sky Factory (Fairfield, IA) in August 2015.
Candidates interview one on one with at least half the company so that a consensus can be achieved regarding hiring. They pride themselves on NOT hiring unfit candidates through this process.
