Technical Account Manager

Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

4 day work week, team is very helpful, fun work events, SS is very involved in volunteer work for different local events. Overall great W/L balance at this job.

As with most jobs, sometimes clients can be difficult.

      1 hr with hiring manager
90 mins split between system design and historical deep dive

the initial call with the hiring manager was well received, but the follow up call was juxtaposed for the tech tier. It seemed like a FAANG level interview without the FAANG benefits.
