What gets a Slacker excited to roll out of bed in the morning? Yes, the challenge of coming up with big ideas and hard-working tactics for notable B2B brands. Yes, the competitive pay and benefits. But we think it's also about the less obvious stuff. Like the beer carts. Friday morning bagels in our spacious café and auditorium space. A free gym in the building (to work off those bagels and beers). Opportunities to learn, grow and share. And lots more. Add it up, and we think you'll see Slack and Company as the kind of place you'll want to be part of.
Want a change? Fancy growing your career at one of the top agencies in the B2B universe? Prefer Michigan Avenue to suburbia? If you're one of the best of the best, there may be a spot for you here. Our employees (both current and former) will tell you that Slack and Company is fertile ground for creative and strategic thinkers, especially those with plenty of ambition and curiosity.
I have been working at Slack and Company full-time (More than 10 years)
If you enjoy and love B2B marketing, you'll be hard-pressed to find a better B2B agency to join. The company has a collaborative and civil culture, blue-chip B2B clients, interesting and challenging work assignments, strong branding and demand-generation chops, top talent in every area, a newly expanded and remodeled work space, above-average benefits and, after 30 years, a stellar global track record and reputation.
Because Slack also is an integrated marketing communications agency, one of the first in the world going back to 1988, you have to personally work harder than you might at many other agencies to stay abreast of all the trends and developments across the entire marketing communications spectrum. Possibly a con to some, but a plus to others who know they'll be more marketable and valuable as their careers progress.
Advice to Management
Whether it's global, national orvregional in scope, keep your focus on attracting interesting, challenging and intellectually stimulating B2B work. That's a big part of what of what keeps me and others here!
I applied online. I interviewed at Slack and Company.
Wasted my time and money since I flew in to speak to them. They asked me to walk thru my portfolio and did not ask any engaging or thought provoking questions. I received very positive feedback from them; however, they never once emailed me after the interview. I tried to follow up a few times, but was left ignored. Very unprofessional.
