I have been working at Smarsh full-time (More than 3 years)
This has been the BEST company I have worked for. The past few years have been alot of growth and transition so we experience all the pains of that, but as a manager/leader it has only opened doors for me and my team.
I do hear some of the rumblings of the challenges we have, but what company doesn't. It is what you make it and if you are positive, hardworking, and winning mindset I see many people taking advantage of the possibilities here. Many have created their own roles or learned skills they might not have being else where.
We have a tendency to give a lot of chances to those who are negative.
There have been a lot of changes and just like there were positives there were negatives. Product strategy has seemed to be settled.
Advice to Management
Keep focusing on the positive people. Don't let all the processes slow us way down. We use to be very nimble hope we don't lose that and keep giving people opportunities to create their own roles.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Smarsh (Boston, MA) in October 2018.
Resume submission, phone screen with the manager, IQ and personality assessment, on-site interview with 4 employees from various areas (development, quality, management, etc.) Overall, good interview as they assessed my abilities and understood when I had a knowledge gap.
