Great group of people at the Support Center. Lowest turnover in one of the tightest labor markets in the nation. Support Center headcount to field ratio is healthy, very competent and motivated employees. Lots of trust and flexibility. Execs up to the CEO are in touch. It's a very nice place to work.
Company continues to position itself for growth. Workforce planning and internal succession planning could be more of a focus.
Advice to Management
Build a stronger program around field mid-level high potentials.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Smashburger (Denver, CO) in September 2017.
It was painful. I had 7 interviews over a 3 and a half month period. I talked to 6 different people and one twice. Good thing I wasn’t in a hurry to get a job. It took forever, and then I didn’t get an offer. Really frustrating, I passed up a really good offer waiting on these clowns.
Smashburger is gearing up for RFDC 2016 hosted by Restaurant Finance Monitor beginning Monday. Be sure to stop by Booth #219 to learn more or message us on LinkedIn if you are attending and want to meet with our team.
