I worked at Smithfield Foods full-time (Less than a year)
It paid very good, always had work. Made great product for different stores all over the world.
The sight I worked at it was very cold. Freezing actually at the end of the night your toes would be numb.
Advice to Management
Advice to management keep up the good work. Also make sure everyone is ding their job like they should.
I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Smithfield Foods (Middlesboro, KY).
You have to go in for the first interview, then, if they like you, they will call you in for a second interview. During that interview, you do a drug test, sign the forms for your background check, etc. once all that comes in, you will then begin orientation class.
