I have been working at Société Générale full-time
generally, it's a positive work environment that has improved a lot over the past few years, with a more strategic approach to the business in the US. Intelligent and experienced people throughout the organization. There seems to be a genuine commitment from management to continue changing the the firm's culture for the better. This is a global organization. You'll work with people from everywhere in the world. That has both its pros and cons.
Some areas are under-resourced. Have been and continue to be. Technology is improving, but still isn't great. Like most banks, SG is still focused on regulatory requirements, so employees are asked to juggle between those projects and their day-to-day responsibilities.
Advice to Management
Be more visible. Get out more and spend time with employees to hear our ideas and our concerns.

Interview process was great. They will pick the people that they know can do the job and do it well. First had a phone interview that was followed by a super day interview. It is important to be able to know how to speak about yourself and how to market yourself
