Well, there are plenty of reasons. One which stands out is that we get to interact with students who aspire to be employees of Software AG. I went to George Mason for a career fair as part of software AG’s hiring team. We talked about current job openings and Software AG’s offerings to its customers. Not so long ago, I was a student and actively hunting for jobs. It’s pretty cool to be on the other side of the spectrum! I enjoyed the overall experience a lot.

I have been working at Software AG full-time (More than 8 years)
New CEO Sanjay Brahmawar is devoting his first few months to traveling the globe, meeting with as many employees (and customers and partners) as possible via multiple roundtables and all hands meetings. He is speaking little, asking good questions, LISTENING, and answering our questions. 2 weeks in, he strikes me as someone who is authentic, smart/strategic, appreciative, and confident but not arrogant. We are off to a great start.

Advice to Management
The blogs and posts are great, but please keep the lines of two-way communication open.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Software AG (Reston, VA) in June 2016.
Did a phone screening with HR then met with the director at their office. It started off with an Excel test. Interview wasn't anything special; I was asked if I was familiar with any marketing terms, why I wanted to pursue this field, etc. More talking on the interviewer's part than mine but it was due to nerves. When the interview ended, I was asked if I had any questions. I could tell right away that I didn't get it, I could tell from her face and tone.
