The product and business approach was innovative. The people are smart, passionate and always looking to learn new things. There was always a "go go" atmosphere to try new things and test them - continual improvement. Management built a phenomenal local team in Ukraine, and created an environment to develop them. The company also had a family culture.
The 10-hour time difference between Kyiv and Menlo Park made for late nights regularly. The number of regular meetings contributed as well, but understandable given that everyone was spread across 3 countries. Communication between departments sometimes a challenge due to imperfect communication technologies, but all in all not bad.
Advice to Management
Keep the faith and keep watching the market. The product concept is solid and one day it will find its market niche.
