I worked at Sony Online Entertainment full-time

    Pros

I enjoyed my 8 and a half years of employment with Sony Online Entertainment. I worked on a highly profitable game with the company and saw the company grow to over 700 people and multiple studios throughout the world. I worked with many talented people who became good friends of mine while I was there. Great pay, bonuses and royalties during my time there. Best job that I ever had.

    Cons

The company is no longer around as it was when I worked there.

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Sony Online Entertainment (San Diego, CA) in June 2011.

    Interview

I was approached by a temp recruiter for a position they had open for a software test engineer. After a brief technical interview with the lead of the team I sat down with the rest of the team where they asked more informal questions. Overall it was a enjoyable interview.

    Interview Questions

    • I won't divulge any specifics here but they were all basic C++/Java questions any student should know.   Answer Question
