These values are central to the success of the practice and directly tied to the rewards of the practice – including performance bonuses, leadership opportunities, and advancement to partner. Throughout the organization, all colleagues – physicians, nurses, and non-clinical staff – are evaluated and rewarded based on our core values. Each colleague receives performance-based compensation, which is directly aligned with Sound Physicians’ core values.

TEAMWORK

  • Commitment to collaboration in care

INNOVATION

INTEGRITY

Sound Physicians’ colleagues articulated this statement of commitment early in the organization’s history. The same words still ring true today.

We, the people of Sound Physicians, are foremost dedicated to providing the highest standard of compassionate, skillful medical care possible to each patient entrusted to us. Our goal is to always support our physicians and others with whom we interact in the fulfillment of the Hippocratic Oath: “May I always act so as to preserve the finest traditions of my calling and may I long experience the joy of healing those who seek help.”

Our talented, dedicated clinicians are respected and valued as pivotal to the mission of Sound Physicians. Sound Physicians supports its physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and hospitalist nurses in developing the camaraderie and trust needed for successful and coherent hospitalist teams.

The entire organization supports clinicians in the practice of their art while embracing the financial realities of healthcare today. The leadership throughout the organization of Sound Physicians is experienced, focused and dedicated to the ethics of medicine and the business world.

Sound Physicians vows to maintain an environment in which everyone is treated with mutual regard and respect – from our clinicians, to our healthcare colleagues, patients and their families.

Sound Physicians strives to constantly improve the efficiency, quality and financial success of the hospitals and post-acute facilities we make our home. Our hospitalist teams tirelessly lead the way to improve policies and procedures, squelch inefficiency and diligently improve the patient experience.

Sound Physicians nourishes collegial relationships with community physicians so that they entrust their patients to us with confidence that the tremendous change of hospitalization and post-acute care will be skillfully orchestrated and that their patients will return to their personal practice.

We hold true to the conviction that the patient, clinician and partner thrive through our commitment.

Sound Physicians values the confidence and trust of our partners. Our every interaction assures patients, family members and friends that the quality of medical care is our greatest concern.

Through steadfast commitment and unique attention to the finer points of patient care, Sound Physicians is fully dedicated to raising the standard of the patient experience one patient at a time.

Any organization knows what they do; some know how they are different; but few can clearly state why they exist. We are looking for great people who believe what we believe: that we can make a big difference in healthcare. By improving quality and lowering the cost of healthcare, we have a tremendous opportunity to help transform patient care and outcomes. Would you love to wake up excited about the work you do, leading the way and truly changing healthcare for the better?

We are looking for energized colleagues to join our team nationwide. As a business colleague, you can help our clinical teams make a significant difference the acute episode of care, which is managed by our emergencyhospitalistintensivist, and post-acute provider teams. Sound Physicians’ high-performance model incorporates engaged and aligned teams and a commitment to performance management throughout the acute episode of care — from the time the patient enters the hospital to the period 90 days following discharge in skilled nursing centers and in patients’ homes.
