I have been working at Southern Maine Health Care full-time
Coworkers, benefits, work-life balance, ongoing opportunities for professional development
Ability to work remotely, lack of accountability
I applied online. The process took 5+ months. I interviewed at Southern Maine Health Care in January 2018.
A few weeks after applying for the position, I was invited for an in-person interview with the Director of Partners for Healthier Communities, a part of Southern Maine Health Care. The interview lasted about 30 minutes and consisted of questions regarding my experience and personality-based questions. When asking what the next steps would be, she said I would hear back regardless of the decision within two weeks at most. Well, I did not hear back until FIVE MONTHS later, receiving an automatic rejection email from Southern Maine Health Care. To the director and SMHC-treat your potential candidates with respect and understand that their time is just as valuable as yours. Very unprofessional.
