    Pros

The management kept us reaching beyond our comfort levels to achieve greater goals. The overall company atmosphere was positive and encouraging

    Cons

The pay structure was going through a reorganization and it was near impossible to determine how much we would be receiving on each pay check. The goals being set for us were increasingly challenging to meet and as management attempted to synchronize the goal system it dramatically altered the individual employees pay

    Application

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Southern Wine & Spirits of America (Syosset, NY).

    Interview

A HR employee contacted me to set up an interview with her manager. I met the manager who was nice. She did ask several opened ended interview questions, and I found it difficult to come up with some answers on the spot as I was nervous. I don't think the job was the right fit for me, and I did not get an offer, but I did appreciate that they considered me for the position and sent me a polite email letting me know they chose someone else.

    Interview Questions

    • "Name a time when you were given complex information on the job and how you dealt with that." "Lots of "Name a time" questions with different scenarios. Not a big fan of open ended interview questions, but unfortunately you have to be prepared for them. I think I was asked at least 5 of them.   Answer Question
