I have been working at Southwest Microwave full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There are real opportunities for growth, great benefits, and a new management team with a refreshing attitude of team work. I have seen hard working employees rewarded with promotions. Many employees have been there for 10, 20, 30+ years which is almost unheard of in today's culture. In the current market for a company to keep an employee for that length of time communicates that they are doing something right.

    Cons

Southwest Microwave can be slow to change and some would say it is an "old fashioned' company. This may be due to the length of time that some people have been employed although the the tide seems to be turning in a positive direction. The starting salaries for most positions are on the low side but the great benefits do counteract that in some sense.

    Advice to Management

Continue on the current path of change and growth.
