I worked at Spalding Regional Medical Center full-time (More than 8 years)
Great place to start working. They will hire you fresh out of school and give you a chance to prove your worth. Benefits are good.
Some managers are only out to make themselves look good. The pay is at the low end of the pay scale.
Advice to Management
Raise your base pay. Don't overwork and overload your employees in the name of profit.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Spalding Regional Medical Center (Griffin, GA) in February 2016.
Met with director of HR on day one and found out further about the position and then came back for a second more intense interview (about 1.5 weeks later) with other HR staff, managers of other departments, and CNO. After interview, asked for a timeline of decision as I thought the interview went well. Was told it should be soon and that there was no other candidates at this time that the HR recruiter was aware of. She also emailed me to let know (status post my thank you follow ups) that the director of HR would be out for a few days and she didn't want me waiting with no response over a week. Since that email there has been no follow up with or closure for almost a month now. Unfortunately, this has is the second time this has happened with this company for me. There is no follow up with candidates and they leave you hanging in anticipation and will not reply to any form of communication you to try to reach them with. If they are going with another candidate, constructive feedback is accepted and should be given to all professionals. I would not recommend a friend to apply for this company.
