Mission: SpareFoot's company mission is to make moving and self storage easy for everyone.
I worked at SpareFoot full-time (More than a year)
Faith friendly, while never discussing religion
Issues never fester
Community setting for meals, coffee, stand up chats
Nobody takes themselves too seriously
Honestly, no major complaints. SpareFoot may have lost some top talent due to inflexibility on formalizing job titles and conducting performance reviews after hours.
Advice to Management
Continue to stay humble and invite Austin's top executives and investors to share their insights at the weekly meetings.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SpareFoot (Austin, TX) in July 2016.
The interview process included phone screen with recruiter, phone interview with hiring manager, then set of onsite interviews with CEO, team managers, and some team staff. The interview included the opportunity to have lunch with 3 of the team members.
The process was professionally handled, with the recruiter on top of the process and the team all enthusiastic about the opportunity to talk. Minor note, you will need to do a non-disclosure agreement as part of the interview process.
