The Recruiter is located in Portland Maine. Terrible candidate experience. When I shared my salary expectations she said you should have more experience when I have 9 years of experience and a master's degree. I think she may have discriminated against me and had made up her mind because of my ethnicity.

We recently caught up with our Leader of Product and Innovation, Chris, to get his take on what makes Specialized a unique place to innovate! His take: There are two things that drive product creators: making something innovative and being able to impact the world in a positive way. I can't think of a place where those two things are more tangible every day than Specialized. We live and breathe a culture of "Innovate or Die" and it never gets old going out on a weekend and seeing people having an amazing time using our products. We all share the same values and belief in what we're bringing to the world, and that creates an incredibly cohesive culture at Specialized. We are a global brand but at the same time we feel like a small and nimble startup, where every idea has a shot. No one is ever told to "stay in your lane" and collaboration across functions is more the norm than not. We value curiosity, passion and execution over hierarchy or "that's how we've always done it." Career paths are never rigid and there are always new opportunities across different teams and offices.
