I worked at Spectra Ticketing & Fan Engagement full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I really enjoyed my years there. There were a lot of people who had been with the company forever. Upper management was very people oriented.

    Cons

It seemed like every few years there were ownership and product focus changes.

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Spectra Ticketing & Fan Engagement (Irvine, CA) in August 2017.

    Interview

They did not have any requirements first of all. But thats okay. The first round was with CTO. doesnt ask any technical questions .I work with much better company and described my projects. I also said I do a lot of learning through web which helps me to be informative about new technologies. He said he will let me know in a week. I felt good about it , since he asked do you have any offers pending and is it ok if i give feedback within a week and was expecting second round. But i got negative feedback saying that I don't have enterprise experience and most of it is home learning. Please do a favor by eliminating that round. If at all he has to interview do it after a full 3 or 4 hours of technical interview. People who are experienced get disappointed by this mere foolish analysis by him. Even if he is a CTO, he should never forget where he came from. We all work very hard to reach somewhere in life, if I had to fake i would have said yes of course I work on all technologies. Whatever happened to "Honesty is the best Policy". it was a waste of time , leaving my work and going for the interview.
