I have been working at Spencer Technologies (Massachusetts) full-time (More than 10 years)
When the work is there, it's good money. Among the veterans are some of the highest quality professionals in the business. If you know your stuff, there is very little supervision required.
No annual reviews. Pay raises near non-existent. Lack of training for new hires. Lack of consistent Management structure. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing.
Advice to Management
Management should establish tiers based on tech experience. Employees should receive incentive bonuses for above average performance. Annual reviews should be given with advice on areas to improve.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Spencer Technologies (Massachusetts) (Northborough, MA) in May 2014.
Once you submit an application and it has been reviewed, HR will setup an interview. You will travel to the corporate office in Northborough MA and meet with the hiring manager who will ask general questions involving customer service as well as pinpointed questions to see your technical knowledge and personal character - optimistic minded people are more likely to be hired.
