Mission: To connect every business in the world to the people they care about.
Spredfast is the only social marketing platform that brings the consumer voice into every part of marketing.
Our platform sifts through millions of pieces of social content per minute, letting brands participate in individual conversations or amplify relevant content across any digital screen. By engaging in real-time, and using data to make smarter decisions, brands become more relevant to consumers.
Our team works with the world’s best brands and media companies to connect them with consumers in an increasingly social world.
At Spredfast we are social first. That means a few things.
It means that social is our first love and it’s where we focus our innovation. From our developers to our Customer Success team to our executive leadership, we all come to work thinking about how to better connect brands with consumers in an increasingly social world.
It means that we believe customers should come first in brands’ marketing efforts. Including our own. We work with transformative marketers at the world’s best brands. We celebrate their successes and stay attuned to their needs and desires.
It means that we stay social together. Daily catered lunches, group fitness sessions, and company-sponsored volunteer opportunities are just a few of the many ways that our team stays connected. (Check out the #socialfirst hashtag to see more!)
We approach who we hire and how we perform based on a set of core values that reflect our innovation, our work ethic, our dedication to collaboration, and our whimsical charisma.
Awesomeness—We want innovation to mean more than just a good idea, but a good idea that makes a difference forever in the pursuit of awesomeness.
Freesponsibility—We hire great people so that our team has the confidence that they will “do what they say.” We give people the freedom and flexibility to get to the finish line in their own way.
Agilispeed—We move quickly. Customers are amazed at our responsiveness and speed of innovation. We act and react with relentless composure.
Transopency—Trust enables people to do great things. We believe visibility empowers us to take ownership and seize opportunities. We earn trust everyday.
Teamswork—We are one team. It takes many talents and diverse voices to make a company great. We depend on each other to make the whole thing work. We move together in one direction towards a common goal.
When we say everyone should feel included at work, we mean every single person. When we say we’re stronger when we’re diverse, we mean the success of our business depends on incorporating different perspectives. When we say we must be honest about where we have room to improve, we mean we value transparency and its place in our progress toward diversity and inclusivity.
Spredfast believes in diversity, inclusivity, equality and transparency. Learn more here.
We are on a journey to increasing equality at Spredfast. We still have work to do to achieve the diversity we strive for across the company.
I have been working at Spredfast full-time
The reputation for good work/life balance is well deserved. My maternity leave pay was great and better than what my friends at other tech companies had gotten in Austin. There are pump rooms on every floor of my office (HQ) and people here have been bending over backwards to make sure my transition back to work was as easy as possible.
Conference rooms in Austin are almost always booked solid, so often we have to use open areas for meetings or calls which can get loud and distracting.
I applied online. I interviewed at Spredfast.
Initial phone interview with recruiter followed by video interview with hiring manager. They asked the same basic questions in both interviews. They are currently not doing any digital marketing and they don't appear to know what they should be doing in this area. They asked one basic question about PPC and SEO. There was no questions specifically asked regarding SEM until I asked more in depth questions about the position. The hiring manager seemed at a loss when I was mentioning specific areas of SEO and PPC that I had done in previous roles. There was little info provided on what they were looking for in this role.
