    Pros

Family & Health First, Constant learning, Welcome to new ideas, Awesome management.

The company is awesome to work for! Its a place where everyone from the CEO down are available at your fingertips. There is an opendoor policy with everyone.

The company has a Work From Anywhere policy and it is phenomenal! If you want to travel to Brazil for 6 months and then back home you can!

SBR is open to careerpathing and promoting the idea that you should build towards a job within the company that fits both the needs of the business but also enchances and pulls out your best attributes and talent.

If you are into retail, technology, software, development, marketing, sales and more....you would fit right in.

SBR employees love to connect via video chat sessions even if it is to connect over a cup of coffee and to learn about someone's day and take a mini break from a days work.

To sum up Springboard Retail up in three words: Collaborative, Creative and Caring!

    Cons

    I can't think of any.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Springboard Retail (Boston, MA) in May 2016.

    Interview

I responded to a job posting on the company's site and heard relatively quickly via email. I next had an approximately 30-minute phone screening with the head of my prospective department, then was invited to the office for in-person interviews with some of the company's key personnel.

    Interview Questions

    • Since my previous role was basically that of an end user of the company's software, they asked a lot of questions about my level of expertise with previous software, training teammates on its use, and interacting with support reps. They also asked open-ended questions about my approach to handling customers and problem solving. Because the entire company was very small at the time and I was nearly the first outside hire in my department, most of the line of questioning seemed to be aimed at establishing whether I'd be a good fit culturally.   1 Answer
