Application
I applied online. I interviewed at Springer Nature (New York, NY) in July 2017.
Interview
I was contacted by the 'Resourcing Administrator', to say they were very keen on my CV and experience and he then set up a Skype interview between myself and the 'future boss' in the US. We had a 45 min exchange/interview, where I was under the impression I more than 'fitted the position' and the role sounded very appealing and very much in line with my experience.
However that was nearly two months ago and after hearing nothing back two weeks after the interview, I emailed the 'Resourcing Administrator' to ask for any feedback. He only responded after another request from myself another week later and his response was abrupt and unhelpful, to say the least -
"The reason for the delay in response is simply because we don’t have feedback yet and don’t have to scope to get it back to you so quickly.
I will be in touch the second I have any news" ...
Needless to say I have not had any more information and frankly, with that 'style' of 'HR', I maybe better off somewhere else...
