St. John Healthcare has provided more than $79 million in unreimbursed care for the poor and underserved over the past three fiscal years (2016-2018). In the greater Tulsa area, St. John actively reaches out to disadvantaged citizens. Through the creation of the Medical Access Program (MAP), St. John serves individuals living in poverty in numerous ways, including the provision of free diagnostic imaging and specialty medical care.

St. John’s more than 7,000 physicians, associates and volunteers reach out to eastern Oklahoma and southeastern Kansas communities through:

  • Supporting the Tulsa Area United Way, American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, American Cancer Society and other social service and healthcare programs.
  • Participation in clinical research and trials to improve the care and treatment of patients.
  • Participation in health education and health screening events.
  • Partnering with Tulsa County Health Department, Good Samaritan Health Services, Morton Health Clinic, In His Image Family Medicine Residency Program, Day Center for the Homeless, Tulsa Dream Center, Community Health Connections, Family and Children’s Services, Tulsa County Medical Society, the University of Oklahoma - Tulsa College of Community Medicine, Tulsa, Broken Arrow and Owasso public schools and many more organizations.
  • Nearly 700 members of the St. John Auxiliary generously donated more than 68,700 hours of service to patients and their loved ones over the past fiscal year.

St. John Health System has integrated Regional Medical Laboratory (RML) into the St. John family to handle laboratory testing services. Our RML staff utilize cutting-edge technology for accurate, high-quality and timely results. RML is a nationally-recognized commercial pathology laboratory that provides testing for thousands of hospitals.

RML operates a primary facility on the St. John Medical Center campus in Tulsa with several satellite locations throughout northeast Oklahoma including:

  • Owasso
  • Claremore
  • Bartlesville

Through our comprehensive network of hospitals and affiliated centers of excellence, St. John Health System provides total medical coverage for our patients.

Community Hospitals

St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, which was named the #1 Hospital in Oklahoma by the U.S. News and World Report for 2017-2018, is St. John Health System’s largest. However, we operate several additional community hospitals.

  • St. John Broken Arrow is a 44-bed hospital serves Broken Arrow and the surrounding communities; and offers a wide range of services including: emergency care, orthopedic services, sports medicine, joint replacement, general surgery and imaging.  
  • St. John Owasso provides 24-hour emergency care, surgical services, imaging and women’s services to Owasso and surrounding communities.
  • St. John Sapulpa is a 25-bed, non-profit hospital offering full-service primary care, general surgery, podiatry, ophthalmology, and gastroenterology to Sapulpa residents and surrounding communities.
  • Jane Phillips Medical Center provides a wide array of critical inpatient and outpatient services to Bartlesville and surrounding communities including: general medicine, surgery, cardiopulmonary care, maternal and infant care, cancer treatment, geriatric care, orthopedics, and physical medicine. Jane Phillips features a new Wound Center, as well as the state’s first certified pulmonary rehab program.


St. John Clinic has 104 locations throughout Oklahoma and part of Kansas and employs over 500 medical providers and staff. St. John Clinic provides a full range of high-quality medical services; and includes primary care and specialty physician practice clinics. Some of our clinic specialties and services include:

    Completed online application and received a call from the recruiter the next day to set up an in person interview with the nurse manager on the floor. Met with the nurse manager and she asked basic questions. She told me I would be a good fit and she would let the recruiter know that she wanted to extend an offer. Received a phone call from the recruiter the next day with an offer.
