I have been working at St. John's Lutheran (WELS) part-time (More than a year)
Good values that come with a church envrionmen. I like all the people and it is fun to see what goes on "behind the seens." as they say.
There arent really any downsides that I can tell. I think St. John is a great place to work with few downsides. The only downside is the pay that could be a little higher perhaps, but i aint greedy.
Advice to Management
The management aka pastor is very nice and should be highly praised for his good work.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at St. John's Lutheran (WELS) (Oak Creek, WI) in October 2011.
There wasn't really an intervie porscess. I just went to church one day and the pastor saw me and i mentioned my skills and he contacted me a few days later. We talked on the fone for a bit and he said that he would like my services. so that was it.
There is no wiggle room with the pay really. sorry
