I worked at Stackpole International full-time (More than 8 years)
A lot of anonymity, challenging work, profit sharing, centrally located, friendly staff colleagues.
Being in automotive your work rides the up and down wave of the business cycle; the manufacturing plant is quite smelly and generally not good for your health due to tooling coolant fumes; some weekend work; automotive plants are very prone to layoffs when they slow down.
Advice to Management
To have as much work transparency as possible with frequent meetings, team outings, and communicate everything that's going on in the business, no holding back information.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Stackpole International (Toronto, ON (Canada)) in March 2017.
I applied through university career center's website, and got the interview around two weeks after. The interviewers are nice, and no extremely tricky questions were asked. I guess they may be impressed if you have passed CPA or CFA exam. They also asked what do you know about the company.
