I worked at Stanley Consultants full-time (More than 8 years)
Interesting work, good people. Always felt like working for a firm that was concerned with its employees' well-being and development. Progressively increases in responsibility were available.
Conservatively managed firm; this means that caution is always exercised when pursuing new business opportunities, which has some benefits, but also costs.
Advice to Management
Aggressively pursuing new business will keep the firm independent in the future.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Stanley Consultants (Salt Lake City, UT) in June 2015.
First I met with employees who knew me and wanted me for the position
then I had to apply on line
I continued with minimal discussions with local office managers
This was followed with a 1.5 hour phone interview with HR a very good discussion
When the VP had time to fly into SLC, I had a 2 discussion with Infrastructure VP and three others - office manager, transportation manager
