Happy Administrative Professionals’ Day! We are so very grateful for all of ours today and on a daily basis across the entire company! #Grateful #ThankYou
Stars Behavioral Health Group offers:
In 1988, we began with three intensive, facility-based programs — Star View Adolescent Center, Oasis Rehabilitation Center, and Starlight Rehabilitation Center. We developed each program in partnership with the respective counties to serve children, adolescents, and adults with serious emotional challenges.
In the early 1990’s, we began offering an array of in-home and school-based services to support clients in transitioning from our facilities back into their communities. We now serve thousands of clients in community-based programs provided in homes, on school campuses and in partnership with other local agencies — including full service partnerships and other support services that are funded by the Mental Health Services Act.
Today we offer a full continuum of community- and facility-based programs, as well as special education in public and nonpublic schools. We deliver a complete array of therapeutic services — including outpatient, Day Treatment Intensive, and acute and subacute inpatient treatment — all of which are grounded in clinically sound, best practices. We provide our services through contracts with county mental health, child welfare, and juvenile justice departments, as well as with public school districts.
Our motto says it all. We work closely with individuals, families, other providers and our county partners to bring about change in people’s lives. We care deeply about the clients we serve, and that defines everything we do and aspire to be.

I have been working at Stars Behavioral Health Group full-time (More than 3 years)
Great team work, engaged employees, strong leadership, ability to help the community and work with people who need support
A lot of paperwork required but it is necessary for funding and appropriately documenting client care.
Advice to Management
Keep supporting your staff and holding everyone to a high standard of work.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Stars Behavioral Health Group (Long Beach, CA) in May 2016.
I applied online, and received a response very quickly. I was scheduled for an in-person interview shortly after. Like many people, interviews make me extremely nervous. However, my entire interview process made me feel incredibly welcome. My interviewers were very kind and accommodating. The entire time, I felt like it were a conversation between old friends - very natural, and such a great personality fit. The questions asked were what you would expect - questions about the resume, where I see myself in the future, and so forth. My interviewers also made the effort to ask about my own characteristics that would bolster the Human Resources Department and the company as a whole. It was by far, the most enjoyable interview I've ever had in my career.
