I have been working at State GOP as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

It truly is a great environment. All the individuals I have worked with over the years have their own diverse backgrounds that play into the work we do every day. Working for the GOP is very much team oriented. We all have our own skill sets that make us unique to this team. Plus, given the people we work for, this is a great environment for networking, should you want to climb the food chain of politics!

    Cons

As great as the people and the jobs are, the hours can be long and hard if you're in a campaign that's in full swing.

    Advice to Management

All ways look at the initiative your volunteers and consultants show and promote them accordingly.
