Meet Ella R.

How long have you worked at Steadfast? 
I have been with Steadfast for a little more than five years.

 

What do you do for the company? 
I am a Property Coordinator so I have the privilege of assisting the VP’s and RM’s.


What does working for Steadfast mean to you? 
To me, working for Steadfast has been about learning, growth, opportunity, and the ability experience this with some amazing co-workers.

How long have you worked at Steadfast?
I have been at Steadfast for six months.

 

What do you do for the company?
I am the Human Resources Assistant. I am responsible for the departments administrative tasks including records management, new hire paperwork and Associate status changes/notifications. I support the recruiters and HR business partners.

 

How does the Steadfast Culture empower you to be the best you can be every day?
Working for Steadfast means coming to a happy work place, and learning something beneficial to help my team every day. I am excited to surround myself with such a supportive group of people.

I have been with Steadfast for two months!


What do you do for the company? 
I lead the Real Estate (Property Management) Accounting Team.

Working for Steadfast means leading an excellent team, gaining new and innovative ideas from those with many years in our industry and enjoying an overall great experience.

Meet Elizabeth D.

 

Elizabeth, how long have you worked at Steadfast? 
My 15th anniversary is approaching at the end of May.

What do you do for the company? 
I am a Vice President and Due Diligence Manager.  I have the privilege of being part of the team that underwrites and closes Steadfast’s acquisitions, which means interfacing with folks all over the company, as well as sellers, consultants and lenders.  And organizing data…lots and lots of data.


What does working for Steadfast mean to you?
I find being part of Steadfast to be fulfilling; it is a rich experience to work with talented, remarkable people towards achieving common goals and to see tangible results.  I particularly appreciate how the culture here is infused with a spirit of helping others which unfolds through the Core Values, giving of resources, and ultimately in how we conduct ourselves on a daily basis.  To me, this shows a recognition by the leadership of a bigger picture perspective –the truly important elements in life - something I’ve not experienced in another corporate environment.

I find my happy by serving my residents and valuing my co-workers, spending family time with my family. I find my happy by being a mentor to my children and showing them that if you work hard enough you can reach your ultimate goal in life.

What do you do for the company? 
I am a Human Resources Coordinator and I handle all the Corporate staffing as well as property management staffing for some of our portfolios.

 

How does the Steadfast Culture empower you to be the best you can be every day?
Working for Steadfast means working for a great company with even greater people. I have enjoyed getting to know and work with many of our executives and associates. Whether I'm learning about them personally or professionally, I love the wealth of knowledge that every has and their willingness to share it with their peers.

 

How do you like to #FindYourHappy?
One of my favorite things to do is to travel and explore new cities, especially the smaller towns. I have had the opportunity to travel to different countries in Europe and Asia and I love learning about cultural differences and trying international cuisine. This is my 6th week at Steadfast. (And we are so happy she is here!)

What do you do for the company?
I am a Property Management Coordinator.

Working for Steadfast means coming into a happy work place every day and helping the company grow by supporting the Regionals and VPs as best I can.

How do you like to #FindYourHappy?
I love to do yoga, hike, snowboard, and play softball! Anything active puts a smile on my face.


 

Meet Jenny W.


Jenny, how long have you worked at Steadfast?
About a year and a half. Can we round up to two? Because it’s been the best two(ish) years ever!!

What do you do for the company?
I work with Learning & Development- sharing exciting learning opportunities with our on-site teams, generating reports, occasionally updating forms and policies, sending happy emails (Happy Birthday! Happy Work Anniversary! Great job on AME!), and anything else the team needs…so basically, I have the best job ever.

How does the Steadfast Culture empower you to be the best you can be every day?
Working at Steadfast means so much to me- it is doing work I love with a company I love. It’s the comfort of having work-life balance and the challenge to pursue excellence daily. Above all, it’s the opportunity to “Find My Happy” each and every day!

How do you like to #FindYourHappy
My sweet hubby is a Children’s Pastor, and I #findmyhappy serving with him in ministry. We also find a lot of joy in doing ordinary things together as a family, we have a LOT of fun in the normal day-to-day!

    I was sent an email by a woman and agreed to meet her at a specific time. I waited 1.5 hours and finally just walked out. It turned out to be a job fair, which she did not tell me. She had zero consideration for the fact that I was currently employed and had a portfolio of properties. That is not an acceptable way to hire regional managers. I would not work for a company this disorganized.
