    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Stealth (Oak Brook, IL).

    Interview

The interview I had at Stealth was nothing like I have ever experienced. From start to finish it was unprofessional.

Supposedly I was one of a few finalists for the position. But this seemed strange as it seemed the manager was reading my resume for the first time as I was being asked questions. I was also never given his business card or any contact information.

As in every interview I asked a few questions to get some clarification on the position. If you look at the company’s website you can read that they market and perform lead generation. I still don’t know how this is done, even after an interview with them. The website is very vague, so naturally I asked the typical interview questions. For example, what is a typical day like, what are the expectations of the position, who I would report to, how are new clients acquired and more. These are all questions that I have asked in numerous interviews but they were not answered. They were only side-stepped by stating that this initial interview was solely to find out about me and if I would be a good fit for the company. I was asked to tell them about myself, what makes me someone they want to hire, and other vague questions that related back to my resume. I had no idea why I would be a good hire since I have no idea what they really do.

I left really confused on what position I just interviewed for. I was also confused on why I would miss another half day to come back for a second interview where I would be told more about the job. I was told that I would be getting a call to inform me if I had made it or not to the next round. I did receive a voice mail to call them back and did so, but still have not gotten a follow up call to inform me one way or another. I had this interview about 3 weeks ago and still have heard nothing.

My recommendation would be to stay away from this company. Other than their claim of having Home Depot as a client they really don’t have much leverage to stand on.

    Interview Questions

    • Nothing was difficult with the interview but it was unexpected on how vague and mysterious they were about the position. It was by far the most unprofessional and bizarre interview I have ever been on.   Answer Question
