Stericycle has many team members in Houston who have been impacted by Hurricane Harvey. The Culture & Engagement team has been working directly with them to provide support and assistance through this endeavor.
Stericycle established an emergency disaster fund that will allow us to wire money directly to team member's in Houston. Once they have been able to assess the damage, they will have the SteriCares Hardship Fund to help them begin the rebuilding efforts.
Team members at all of the 6 Dallas/Fort Worth locations started supply donation efforts so that our DFW drivers can utilize trucks to deliver to our Houston locations. Everyone has pitched in to help make a difference to our own! One Team One Goal!
Thank you to all the leaders and team members who have so graciously donated!

I have been working at Stericycle full-time (More than 8 years)
Stericycle really is a great company to work for. It all depends on the location you work out of, and the dedication you have to your job and the company. I feel like I'm part of a corporate family, and although I do believe the pay is competitive and we could be making more, the support and perks you get when you have a positive relationship with your peers is worth it. Contrary to popular belief, the company cares about its customers and its employees. I know this first hand. Safety is also priority and preached on a daily. I work in operations and although it's not a glamorous job it's one I enjoy and are thankful for.
Pay is competitive but not horrible.
Advice to Management
From an operations perspective, management does a good job in keeping us on our toes.
I applied online. I interviewed at Stericycle (Itasca, IL).
The interview process was laid back. Positive experience overall. First there was a phone interview and then a in person interview. Interview was held with transportation manager and another supervisor.
