    Assistant Operator Interview

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sterigenics (Queensbury, NY) in May 2015.

    Interview

I was asked many questions about my previous (current at the time) job. I was told that there was plenty of room for advancement and that there are programs in place to help entry level employees grow within the company. The overall "feel" of the interview was friendly and easygoing.

UPDATE: After waiting for a few days I was contacted and asked to come back to talk more about future employment. When I arrived I was asked to complete a company-paid physical, which was very thorough. The physical consisted of vision, hearing, breathing, an EKG, a urinalysis, drug screening, blood work and a chest x-ray. After completing the physical, I received a phone call within about a week from Sterigenics offering me the position that I applied for. From applying to hired took approximately two weeks.

P.S. The most painful thing about the physical was having my blood drawn.
