    Field Technician Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Odessa, TX

    Positive Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took a week. I interviewed at Stewart & Stevenson (Odessa, TX).

    Interview

My interview process seemed to be fairly standard: Fill out application and submit resume, explain work history and experience and was offered a position in my field of interest at my experience level at the time. I drove to Texas from another state, so I drove here to turn in my application. I waited for a few days in Texas for an answer, but the process took about a week. So, on my drive home, I was finally given the call that I was hired.

    Interview Questions

    • My only concern at the time was that I never worked on any of Stewart & Stevenson's product line. But was assured and was given training on all of the products that were needed.   Answer Question

    Negotiation

I did not negotiate at the time. The pay that was offered was more than I was making at my previous employer. The company did offer $750.00 to help me move to Texas.
