At a pivotal meeting in the early months of the company, it became an important task to make core values a part of the fabric of our company. Our leadership team took time to work through a broad list of ideals we value and narrowed it down to five core areas. The entire team spent the next day affirming them.
These values are a reflection of our team, and something we want deeply-rooted for the future. We also wanted to make sure our company aspired to lasting ideals, like having lifelong customers and making sure we enjoy our work as the company continues to grow.
Defining the values is the easy part. Lots of companies have values. The trick is making them an integral part of the company. Our values are a part of how we hire, how we run the company, and even come into play in choosing to work with customers that are the best fit. Core values are a part of our decision making every single day.

Keeping our team connected
Meetings might not sound like an innovative way to assist in establishing a great culture. But, with two offices 300 miles apart and many employees that work from home it’s how we connect as a company. We have a regular all-company call and departmental “Level-10” team meetings each week to cover what’s happening across the team and company. Quarterly we have an all-company meeting to provide an opportunity for business updates, strategic planning, feedback and networking. In the summer it’s a family affair at a Minnesota resort!

Stoneridge Software is a values based, values lead team environment. They truly behave and lead consistently with their values at the root of everything they do. It is a growing company that understands where their challenges are and actively address those challenges head on in order to prepare for the future and continue growing.
The family feel and fact that you can rely on any and everyone to assist when you call is a definite plus and creates an amazing team environment. There are opportunities for growth, learning and forging your own path. Stoneridge Software is a young, growing company. If that excites you and you love being able to work independently and deliver results, this company is definitely for you! If you are someone that likes to work with structure, process and standardization that degree of direction is not yet available at Stoneridge. The company is working hard to create repeatable, predictable internal process and have it in some areas but there is work that still needs to be completed in some areas.
