Empowering Employee Involvement
At Stout, we encourage our employees to become involved in, promote, and support causes that invest in the future of the communities where we work and live. In particular, we focus on programs related to youth, the environment, the military, and our employees’ personal health. We support employee involvement through the following programs:
Volunteer Hours Program
Stout gives employees eight hours of paid time off per year to participate in community service projects with a qualified charity of their choice.
Matching Gift Program
Stout matches donations up to $100 a year made by employees to charitable organizations.
We aim to support at least three events per year at every one of our offices, working with local charities and organizations - especially those our employees are passionate about.
Not-for-profit board participation
Stout offers financial support to help employees provide employees pro bono services through strategic Board positions. Stout will provide up to $2,500 per employee in support of their involvement with a not-for-profit (NFP) organization.
Workout for Charity
Employees that participate in the firm’s IncentFit program can choose to donate their fitness reward dollars to one of the following charities: No Kid Hungry, National Forest Foundation, Wounded Warrior, or American Cancer Society. Stout will match up to $1,500 per quarter in total donations to these charities.
Volunteer Grant Program
Stout will provide a monetary donation to eligible non-profits as a way to recognize employees who volunteer at those organizations. Our goal is to promote volunteerism among employees and fund non-profit organizations that provide valuable services in communities where our employees live and work. Stout will provide up to $25,000 annually in volunteer grants.

Women’s Resource Group
The Women’s Resource Group (WRG) was launched in 2011 with the goal of uniting and empowering Stout's network of talented professional women. The group aims to leverage business and philanthropic opportunities and provide relevant professional-development programs to help women in the workplace achieve success and enhance the overall employee experience at the firm. WRG's various committees focus on a range of opportunities including promoting Stout to women outside the organization, internal programming, recruitment. The group also manages the Stout women's conference, which focuses on networking and relationship building by bringing women professionals together. The conference includes a series of networking workshops, mentoring seminars, and panel presentations.
Women in Business Scholarship Opportunity
In 2016, the Women's Resource Group granted six Stout Women in Business Scholarships, which were awarded to qualified female students pursuing finance careers. Our Future Leaders in Finance program provides the opportunity to jump right in and learn from Stout’s industry leading professionals, while developing an edge as you prepare for a career in finance.
Junior – Internships
Our internship program give you the chance to explore a variety of professional development and career avenues. Interns jump right into assignments in a variety of industries and are given significant client exposure from the start. You’ll be assigned substantial responsibility and provided the opportunity to interact with senior professionals in a number of capacities.
Senior – Analyst Opportunities
This is your opportunity to interview for analyst positions upon graduation. We believe our employees are our best assets and are looking to recruit the best and brightest candidates.
