I worked at Strategic Edge Communications full-time

    Pros

Incredible boss, I worked with CEO/CCO closely and learned so much from him. I felt compelled to write a review because some twisted disgruntled employee keeps writing negative comments about the best person in the company. He's strategic, an incredible mentor, brilliantly creative, knows the science better than most medical directors and above all - compassionate.

He's the real deal. He was the reason I joined the company. I was as hired as a Vice President level and it was talent, not flirting that secured my job - and I never saw him flirt with women in the office and I've spent a decent amount of time alone with him. I'm far from unattractive. If he was anything like what the chronic complainer keeps saying, I would have known. I met him in a bar 5 years before working with him - we were with a mutual client. He was appropriate then as well.

Shame on the deranged person posting negative comments for years. Move on and stop blaming others for your own failures or inadequacies.

My boss was extremely flexible, calm, patient and a great mentor. Even though the company was purchased and I lost my job, I'm grateful for the opportunity.

    Cons

Company was sold, and pharma division dissolved. That was sad... Except I had stock options which made it not so bad.

I wish my boss wasn't stretched so thin and I had more time to learn from him.

    Advice to Management

Keep being the ethical good person you are. You are the most talented person I've ever had the honor to work with. Thank you!

    Application

I applied through other source. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Strategic Edge Communications (Parsippany, NJ) in September 2013.

    Interview

Informal interview with boss - we had a common client and he was AOR for client
Then a very long inquisition from so many people I could barely keep track of their names, except for 3 people, which is interesting because those 3 people were my favorite to work with.

    Negotiation

    Clear, clean cut, no games.
