Some of our favorite benefits include:

  • Health – We help you and your family stay healthy with a choice of plans that cover 100% of employee premiums and 80% of dependent premiums for medical, vision and dental. We offer a wellness reimbursement that you can use toward your fitness dues and optional standing desks.
  • Family – Our award-winning benefits – fully paid maternity and parental leave, comfortable nursing mom rooms, free breast-milk shipping for traveling moms, adoption assistance and care resources for your whole family – help you meet the needs of your loved ones while building your career. Additionally, we offer pet insurance for the furry members of your family.
  • Time Off - Take a break with discretionary or accrued paid time off. In addition to 9 company-paid holidays each year, our Designated Time Off (DTO) policy allows employees to take ownership of their work-life balance and have freedom to make decisions based on their needs.
  • Commuter Reimbursement – Employees are reimbursed for their commuting costs up to $500 in addition to a Citi Bike membership.
  • Equity Choice – As a part of Zillow Group’s compensation package all employees are able to choose how they would like to receive their stock – in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs), stock options or a combination of the two. The program allows employees to tailor their equity-based compensation to their long and short-term financial goals and needs.
  • Eat, Drink and Be Merry: Our kitchens are fully stocked with drinks, fruit and snacks. On Tuesdays, our staff enjoys catered lunches from a rotating list of local restaurants and monthly happy hours.
  • Sabbatical (“ZG R&R”) - After six consecutive years at Zillow Group, employees are eligible to take up to six consecutive weeks off of work to recharge and reboot (“R&R”). During their sabbatical period, employees will still receive benefits while taking time off to pursue their passion, spend time with loved ones or otherwise take time to develop personally and professionally.

    People are all hard working, respectful, and smart. Being part of Zillow giving it tons of useful learning materials and anyone in the company can grab something to learn easily and continuously develop professional skills. Leadership is super transparent about company vision and values, and everyone can contribute.

    I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at StreetEasy (New York, NY).


    I had 2 phone interviews, one with a recruiter and one with the manger of the team. Both of the calls were about 30 minutes and every step of the way was clearly mapped out for me. The recruiter I was working with was extremely accommodating and timely with her responses. After the two phone interviews, I was invited to an on site interview where I met with the director of the team, three of the senior team members, and the manager of the team. The on site interview was a little under 1.5 hours. I was impressed that they had thoroughly read through my resume and asked many of their questions based off of that.
