I worked at Summit Preparatory Charter High School as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Teachers are friendly to the IT staff and it is rewarding work to see that the projects you undertake have impact on both students and staff. Since it's such a small school, you see the results of your work very quickly. Summers are usually relatively busy. IT team is also very autonomous.

    Cons

Not much to do when systems are stable, people don't have problems with their computers, upgrades are recently finished, and there are no imminent projects, but that may just be due to the nature of the school.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you're doing!
