Great leadership and thoughtful consideration of their sales people. Good work schedule, no after hours work. Good products and potential for better products in the future. Huge growth potential.

Selling the same thing to the exact same people year after year after year can be very hard to maintain enthusiasm and difficult to motivate yourself to go see the Drs you need to see. Difficult industry to "sell". Hard to build relationships with your clients which are Drs. It's actually illegal to do anything for Drs unless you bring them lunch.

Management sometimes thinks we are in 5th grade and need to tell us the same things week in and out.

    Advice to Management

Reward the people who have been here for multiple years and have high market shares. If I've been here 3 years and have a top market share for both products it sucks when I have and off quarter and make $0 in bonus and the company makes $ off of all the prescriptions I am bringing in and someone who has had a 0 market share & grows .5% and makes more money than me. Also offer some stock option gifts to the top producers in the company I'm making you a ton of money!

    Pharmaceuticals Sales Representative Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Philadelphia, PA
    No Offer
    Negative Experience
    Average Interview

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Supernus Pharmaceuticals (Philadelphia, PA) in August 2016.

I applied to the position through the company website, then called by an RD within the next few days with out prior scheduling. That afternoon I was told that I was not selected for the position but there was an inside sales position available if interested. I was called by another RD a few hours later and was asked to an in person interview the next day.

During the in person interview I was asked a number of questions on my professional background as well as behavioral questions. At the end of interview the RD called their supervisor and asked if I could make a flight to Florida with in one of the next three days. They explained that they wanted to rush so that I could give my current employer a two week notice if i were to accept the role. I agreed and they said an administrator would be in touch with flight info. The administrator never reached out and I was told they couldn't go forward with my candidacy via email.

I found the whole process rushed, disorganized and dishonest.
