Technical Account Manager

Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

    Difficult Interview

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Sure (United States)

Recruiter cold-contacted me via LinkedIn. Three 30-minute interviews with the recruiter, VP of product, and CTO which were all straightforward. Then they sent a very detailed take-home assignment to create a PRD for a new feature on an existing product. They said it shouldn't take "more than 7-12 hours" to complete. I declined the assignment. Listen to the reviews - they are asking people to work for free under the guise of an interview.
