Fun environment. Good people with lots of knowledge to share. Quality products with great employee discounts. I like that the owners are picky and want what is best for the business.
I don’t have any complaints. This is a great company and unique in the business. I wish there were more places like this. No corporate bs.
Advice to Management
Continue building a strong team for the new location
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Surfas Culinary District (Culver City, CA) in February 2011.
I met with the manager/owners. An elderly man and his wife. They seamed very nice at first, but as they started asking questions, I got the feeling they were a bit paranoid, and had no real training in business etiquette or legal aspects of management.
