I have been working at Sutter Medical Center of Santa Rosa full-time (More than 10 years)
Small hospital - upside and downside. Great patient care in-pt care. Radiology exams turnaround time excellent mostly. Procedures sometimes delay care because only 1 CT Scanner. 2nd scanner coming in early 2017.
Also planned hospital expansion starting in 2017 but won't be completed for ~3+ years.
ER staff always stressed/stretched beyond capacity. Long ER wait times. Hospital full most every day. Need to improve ER turn around times.
Advice to Management
Get the ED more efficient. Too many patients waiting too long for treatment.
