At Swank, we love to show off our St. Louis spirit. Let's go, Cardinals!
We value making a difference. #SwankGivesBack
At Swank Motion Pictures, we’ve been sharing movie magic for over 80 years.
As the largest distributor of movies and TV shows from the world’s best studios, we believe in excelling both professionally and personally.
We think accomplishments should not only be recognized, but celebrated. In fact, it’s part of our core culture. That’s why employee achievements, anniversary milestones, birthdays and life events are treated as important moments that deserve a slice of cake or two.
In our eyes, the success of our company is the direct result of a solid team. Each dedicated, honest and self-motivated individual on our teams has made us who we are today. By selecting top talent and providing what our employees need to achieve their best, we continue to reach new levels of prosperity each year. Add an environment that supports, encourages and rewards good work, and the result is limitless opportunity for personal growth.
Our customers are the center of our business.
Helping them achieve their goals and create extraordinary events is repeatedly named one of the most rewarding aspects of a career with Swank Motion Pictures.
Our philosophy is simple. We aim to exceed customer expectations in all that we do. This starts by delivering excellent customer service within every touch point in our business cycle, from internal processes to personal connections. Seeing the work that we do come to life in photos, calls, emails and even personal notes from happy customers serves as our motivation to keep striving for excellence.
Inspiration plays a major part in our company.
Why? We believe an essential part of a successful and rewarding career is personal growth, not just professional development.
Inspiring one another often extends beyond the office. That’s why our employees are encouraged to make a difference locally by volunteering together through a program called Swank Gives Back. Each year, we select local organizations to support through donations and company-sponsored volunteering events. This important philosophy of giving back encourages us to work toward creating an amazing, inspiring experience in our homes, in our city and for our customers every day.
I have been working at Swank Motion Pictures full-time (More than 5 years)
I truly enjoy the people that I work with. We work well as a team to get the best products to our customers. I get to work on interesting projects and I am always learning something new.
I also appreciate that Swank makes giving back to the community a priority with the Swank Gives Back program.
The communication between departments could be improved.
Advice to Management
I love casual days, please keep giving them to us.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Swank Motion Pictures (Saint Louis, MO) in March 2016.
Interview consisted of an onsite interview, a personality test, an IQ test, and a Skype interview with the CIO. All went smoothly, and everyone was very accommodating.
Onsite consisted of a tour of the buildings, an overview of the company and past intern projects, lunch at a local pizza place, and a couple 30 minute 1:1 interviews with development managers and HR.
