If you have a good manger they can mentor and develop you to where you want to be
If you are in team where you have bad manager it is hard to progress and grow.
Any family or husband and wives working at the company need to be in completely different divisions to get rid of negative conflict of interest tactics.
Advice to Management
Get rid of the staff that have the old/public sector mentality and be harsher on under-performers
I applied online. I interviewed at Sydney Water.
The application process was very standard where the initial application process involved CV and cover letter submission with a few short written responses. Video interview had 7 questions which involved discussing your motivation, suitability for the job, why you chose Sydney Water, discussing your greatest achievement, demonstrating safety and demonstrating leadership and teamwork.
