Pros

Amazing culture, supportive and helpful coworkers and great salary. Majority of people do their best and truly want others to succeed. For a large company, the culture feels very inclusive and small,

Cons

If you are looking to coast, look elsewhere. This is not one of those places where you can "check out mentally" and expect to succeed.

Advice to Management

Review people/procedures in place and make sure they're still working for you and make adjustments/changes accordingly. It's hard to keep up sometimes when a company is growing fast, but it's

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Symplicity Corporation (New York, NY) in Dec 2022

    Interview

Interview was with Symplicity Recruit. Recruiter emphasized "high energy" then Zoomed with the most lethargic manager. Misused simple sales terms. Didnt ask any meaningful questions. From my research, seemed I knew more about his company than him. Made it past first interview. Met with peer AE who was nice, transparent and openly discussed their competitor challenges. Was nice because it helped me understand where I might help. Third interview was a "presentation". When asked manager about parameters, email said "Just something 10-20 minutes. Youll be fine." Prepped, presented and feedback was "I didnt ask insightful questions." The VP was late to attend, inept and didnt understand dif between sales discovery and presentation. Prep time wasted. Frustrating. There were a lot of red flags from early interviews that I ignored because I liked the possible job. Lastly, ghosted. I can accept some early stage ghosting. However, after taking time to deliver presentation (even tho they expected a discovery) is lame.

How many calls do you make per day? Are you used to working remote? Do you have experience with HRIS?
