Interview
Interview was with Symplicity Recruit. Recruiter emphasized "high energy" then Zoomed with the most lethargic manager. Misused simple sales terms. Didnt ask any meaningful questions. From my research, seemed I knew more about his company than him. Made it past first interview. Met with peer AE who was nice, transparent and openly discussed their competitor challenges. Was nice because it helped me understand where I might help. Third interview was a "presentation". When asked manager about parameters, email said "Just something 10-20 minutes. Youll be fine." Prepped, presented and feedback was "I didnt ask insightful questions." The VP was late to attend, inept and didnt understand dif between sales discovery and presentation. Prep time wasted. Frustrating. There were a lot of red flags from early interviews that I ignored because I liked the possible job. Lastly, ghosted. I can accept some early stage ghosting. However, after taking time to deliver presentation (even tho they expected a discovery) is lame.InterviewHow many calls do you make per day? Are you used to working remote?
