Syniverse Technologies has an obligation to the global communities where we do business as well as to the communities where our employees live. Corporate Charitable Giving Campaigns

Syniverse employees in the United States vote on an annual basis to choose which corporate charities we will support as a company. In 2014, Syniverse employees and the Syniverse corporate match provided charities with a combined contribution totaling more than $163,000. The six charities Syniverse is supporting in 2015 include the Alzheimer's Association, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, Humane Society, Metropolitan Ministries and United Way. Additionally, Syniverse was recognized in 2014 as a United Way Most Generous Workplace.

Employee Initiatives

Each year, Syniverse employees around the globe contribute many hours of their own time along with thousands of dollars to better their local communities. Among the many initiatives Syniverse employees have organized are fundraisers to support victims of tornadoes and floods in the southern U.S., the 2011 Japan earthquake, and the 2010 Haiti earthquake.

    I have been working at Syniverse full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    I've been working at Syniverse for over a year and I can just say that it's a great place to become part of. My experience with the company began from the beginning with the warm welcoming of the HR team which maid it so easy for me to feel home all the way to the constant support I get from my manager when it comes to my daily duties.

    Cons

    In general, companies are far from being perfect however the "bad things", if I were to call them that way, we see within the organization are actually areas of opportunity for me and the rest of employees to work together towards making our company better. I believe that the reason why great talent is hired (including myself) is because we want to become better everyday if everything was already done and perfect then why working hard??

    Management is great!!

    I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Syniverse (Tampa, FL).

    Interview

    Very negative impression of the company from the hiring Director, as well as the other managers. They all spoke about the lack of work-life balance, constant pressure from upper management, and disgruntled employees. The interview process was unstructured and mostly informal. I went into the second interview with the feeling I would not take the job if offered.
