Great co-workers and benefits. Many really smart people in the lower ranks that work as a team trying to do their best for the company.
Pipeline integrity so we are tied to oil and gas prices which can cause some slow downs.
The freeze of the pension really killed morale last year.
Advice to Management
The new medical coop is being well received.
Some managers seems to have lost the idea of motivating people and have only been focused on business results.
There has also been some feelings that certain people are given favor over others based on personality and participation in sports rather than in dedication to actually doing the job.
The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at T. D. Williamson in September 2017.
I interviewed with HR and then was passed on to a 2nd interview. After 3 weeks and me emailing HR and the second person - neither had respect to let me know the status of the position. I was also told through a friend outside of the company of the HR person that the HR person shared with them that I mentioned my age and due to this, they worried I would be someone (because I mentioned my age) that would likely be someone who would file a discrimination lawsuit. Incredibly inappropriate that HR discussed this with someone else outside the company. Also not sure how mentioning my age makes me someone who would likely file a discrimination lawsuit. I would never work here. Never heard on the status the position and no responses to emails. Very unprofessional.
