Company Updates

  • We understand that you're a real person with a life outside of work. That's why TCG encourages and creates opportunities for you to let loose.

Employee Benefits for Real People Living in the Real World

Good news: The economy is getting better. As of November 2016, unemployment is down to 4.6% nationwide , and 3.7% in the DC metro area - where it was before the Great Recession. This also means that job candidates can be more selective in where they choose to work.

  • We mostly work remotely, but we always have fun when we’re together. Sprees are just one of the ways we let loose.

Spree (n): An Unrestrained Indulgence in or Outburst of an Activity

TCG Sprees had a fast start in 2019. The first event of the year was a Charity Spree at Arlington National Cemetery. TCGers volunteered to help clean up thousands of wreaths that are placed at veterans' gravestones in mid-December.

TCG, Inc. – Why Work For Us?

Our Core Values are:

We are intelligent
We think before we act. We know that the future is informed and shaped by our decisions today, so we carefully consider potential and desirable outcomes before talking. And we recognize that getting help is the surest sign that we understand the situation.

We invest ourselves in the project
Our clients love what they do because they have the ability to change the world. The projects we do for them reflect that, and are important to the United States…and often to mankind as a whole. We know what we do will have a significant impact, so we devote ourselves to making sure our projects thrive.

We prove our value
We know our clients, our employees, our co-workers, our communities, and our families have a choice of whether they share their lives with us. To keep them, we must prove our value whenever the opportunity presents itself.

We are collaborative
There are brief periods in history when individuals can make a bigger impact than teams. This is not one of those periods. In order to succeed, we must make teams that work together well. Our individuals are amazing, but our collaboration is legendary.

We are fair, honest, and open
A great relationship is open and honest, and fair to all involved. We recognize the importance of having great relationships, so we are honest with everyone. There’s value to ensuring that our messages are well designed, but we never lie.

We value our families
Our employees come with a vast network of people who love them. We appreciate the families our employees bring into our lives and we value their contribution to our success.

We’re always looking for new members of the TCG family. Our people are the best in the industry and say we’re a great employer. Be one of them, do phenomenal work, and build a career of enviable quality at a Top Workplace, a Best Place to Work, with an award-winning culture.

I have been working at TCG, Inc. full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Working with some of the best people who are intelligent and care about the product. Very family friendly, competitive salaries, and great benefits/perks.

    Cons

None that aren't inherent with government contracting -- contracts can get lost/changed, but management goes above and beyond to find room on other contracts for employees, instead of letting them go. Which is great -- talent is hard to find and easier to retain.

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up!
